Milan loses a leading concert organiser

Antonio Mormone, well-liked president of the Società dei Concerti di Milano, has died at his villa on Lake Como at the age of 87. He had run the society for 35 years.

    Antonio Mormone was a great personality and he has done a lot to promote the classical music above all discovering great pianists. He has been a big talent scout. Rest in peace!
