Meet Emmanuel Macron’s voice teacher
mainWe reported a while back that the presidential candidate was taking lessons with the baritone Jean-Philippe Lafont.
Apparently, it’s now acknowledged in political circles that the artists helped him tone down the rants and sound more presidential.
Maybe he’ll get an overseas call from M. Corbyn.
… has he ever taken any kind of lessons from his friends at Radio France ? 😉 …. just to continue this small talk 😉
How long have politicians actively working on their vocal technique or diction? I know of Margaret Thatcher, but there must be many more cases.

And, um, there was an Oscar-winning film called “The King’s Speech.”
Interesting, esp. the last sentence. Did Mr. Corbyn move to Canada? If not, in what universe is the UK “overseas” from France? It is quite telling when the supporters of the UK’s role in the EU use this language, apparently without even thinking about the meaning. If a remainer feels that the UK is “overseas”, what does one expect from the Brexiteers?
There is a sea between the Uk and France. Had you not noticed?
A sea that appears to be much bigger from Dover than from Calais.
The vocal efforts of politicians, which have nothing to do with what they actually are saying, are entirely undemocratic means to get the basic instincts of the masses waking-up from their prehistoric slumber. Such means form the bridge between a free democratic society and a totalitarian one.
