He was named Antonin Dvorak and was the third in line to bear that name.

The Czech Philharmonic have announced that he died yesterday.

Does this mean there are no more relatives of Dvorak #1 or just this is the last male heir with his name?

  2. Ross Amico says:

I met him in New York a few years ago. It was an eerie experience to shake his hand, he looked so much like his grandfather. Of course, he spoke no English, but he was very pleasant. Whenever I see 88, I always think of the opus number of (in my opinion) Dvorak’s most delightful symphony. Rest his soul.
