Thank you Scott and Marlu for you generous donation. The past five years have revealed some wonderful, fresh, and interesting music. Modern opera is not dead and can bring in audiences who are weary of endless re-runs of Tosca, Boheme, Figaro…Last year’s Arizona Lady and the recent Riders of the Purple Sage were terrific and with this new money, hopefully we’ll get more new and worthy operas.
