ECM are releasing a set of Mieczysław Weinberg chamber symphonies with Gidon Kremer and friends, recorded in Vienna and Riga in June 2015.

The conductor is Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, music director of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

We think this may be her record debut.

Her record debut is from Salzburger Festspiele (2012): Bernstein Serenade nach Platons Symposion – Mozart Symphonie C-Dur “Jupiter”, Dan Zhu, Camerata Salzburg. Not available at the moment.

Found inconsistency in M.Weinberg bio on wikipedia. It claim that MW studied during WWII with D.Shostakovich in Tashkent. Uzbekistan. D.Shostakovich wasn’t in Tashkent than. MW studied with Vasily Zolatoruov, a prominent Russian composer and violin teacher.
