The Cleveland Orchestra has been looking for a general manager ever since Jennifer Barlament quit a year ago to be exec director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

Today they gave up the search.

The general manager’s job is abolished.

Duties will be shared between artistic planning chief Mark Williams (pic) and Julie Kim, head of operations.
