The person succeeding Kathy Schumann as artistic administrator next month is called Liz Mahler.

She’s presently executive director of a Brooklyn ensemble, The Knights. She’s married to a man called Strauss.

That’s all.

    Doesn’t “pedigree” require more than simply having the same German-/Yiddish-language surname as others, such as an actual ancestral link?

    ACTUAL KNOWLEDGE OF ADMINISTRATION??? Who cares…(yes, I forgot, “managing” The Knights is rocket science for many, apparently)
