Angela Hewitt receives Canada’s highest honour

The UK-based pianist is among the new members appointed Companion of the Order of Canada, the highest rank of national honours.

    Well deserved (she is already an OBE). For all her international career she still makes sure to perform and give Master classes in Canada several times a year.

    With Gingras now retired, who among critics will dare say the truth when the Companion/Dame will flunk a recital?
