It’s her first cancellation in three years and she has posted a picture of herself with medications, hoping to take over by the third night, next week.
Nadja was herself a late replacement in the cast for Tatjana Serjan.
Meantime, Amarilli Nizza sang the dress rehearsal and will presumably cover opening night.

The great Canadian folksinger and songwriter, 71, was rushed to hospital in Los Angeles.
She has acknowledged recently that she suffers from a rare skin condition, Morgellons Disease, which prevents her from performing.
Her site states:
Joni was found unconscious in her home this afternoon. She regained consciousness on the ambulance ride to an L.A. area hospital. She is currently in intensive care undergoing tests and is awake and in good spirits. More updates to come as we hear them. Light a candle and sing a song, let’s all send good wishes her way.
