    For those of you who like details: the concert Vänskä mentions as a big Sibelius-influence of his youth was on May 4th 1967. 23-old Leif Segerstam was conducting Beethoven (Egmont), Mozart (KV 482) and of course Sibelius’ 5. symphony.
