Just in: Alan Gilbert to give Royal lecture
mainThe music director of the New York Philharmonic has been chosen to give the annual Royal Philharmonic Society Lecture in London, with the title ‘Orchestras in the 21st Century; a new paradigm’.
Gilbert last month announced he’s stepping down from the NY Philharmonic post.
