Wow— Wouldn’t Sir Ralph Richardson been perfect to play him if there had been a biopic!
I came across this on youtube. A 1990 TV version of BEECHAM, a play written by Ned Sherrin & Caryl Brahms, with Timothy West playing Beecham, Terry Wale his secretary and featuring the Halle Orchestra. The entire program can bee seen divided into nine parts.
Well acted, witty and fun to watch.
