A formidable Russian accompanist has died
mainThe Russian state agency has announced the death of Mikhail Bank, a pianist who accompanied many leading singers, as well as international contestants for the major music competitions. He was also, for a while, chief conductor of the Cuba National Ballet. Mikhail Bank was 85.
